Condensor quite likely and worth trying by fitting a good quality replacement. sadly what you have is also a symptom of a weak mag but try the Condensor 1st. and don't worry about the mag if you have an alternator fitted(?).

Could also be to little free movement on the pushrods. As they warm up and expand could be just not allowing the valve to fully close?

If neither helps then come back with more specific detail.

Check as Les suggests, then also check the vents on your petrol cap and float bowl.If it is a coil ignition system, the coil too could be breaking down.good luck!

Oh yes - do check the petrol cap vents OK. You will know if it is not by trying to blow through it or listening for the whoosh of air when you release it straight after you stop after your 20 mile run. I even had an intermittant problem with a screw on cap that had about a 20:1 chance of clamping up so that the vent hole was obscured.
