Worth checking if there is more than a smattering of oil in the sump after a period of running. If little your scavange side of things should be OK & I guess there is a steady drip back into the oil tank?
Have you noticed any change in compression due to a stuck or broken piston ring as blowby will result in excess crankcase pressure.
Did this suddenly start?

My 18S often has a drip of oil from the breather when hot - I have assumed that this is probably normal since there is a strong return flow of oil from the return valve.
Should I expect oil from the breather?

I get an occaisonal drip as well and i have extended the breather so that drips fall onto the rear chain. My chain never goes rusty!
