Tank detailing

Post by Beefheart »

Hi all,
I am about to start painting the tank on my 53 G3 project I have the lining details from the club. The plan is to spray the silver then mask it off, then spray the black can you recommend a suitable tape as they are quite tight curves. I know there has been mention of the tape recently but I can't find the post. I did buy some that seemed perfect, too hasty didn't read properly it's not flexible.
Thanks, Colin

Fine line masking tape, comes in various widths very flexible so no problems on curves, apply to suit your lines then mask up to it. Usually available at vehicle paint supply outlets or motor factors.
