Hi chaps,
I've got the tank off and there's a very small amount of petrol in it. I usually keep the tank full to the "brim". I propose to turn it upside down, make sure it's totally empty. Then remove the taps. Tape up tap holes. Spray a wodge of WD40 in and then seal seal up the filler hole. Bring it home and put it in the dry hot loft.
What do you think? It's what I've done before.
For the taps, I planned to put them in a jamjar full of a mix of Redex and petrol and put the lid on, place on shelf in cold, dark lock up.
What do you think of that?

Hi
That will be fine as long as you allow the tank to fully dry out before you spray it with WD40
Regards Mick
