Hello again. Does anyone have a preferred supplier of cable for harnesses?
Cheers, Chris

Re: Wiring Cable Suppliers
Hi Chris
I always use Vehicle Wiring Products. They sell thin wall cable in many different colours and gauges so you can increase the conductor size without the loom becoming too large. They also sell a large range of shrink tube and connectors.
I always prefer to make my own looms even though there have been good reports of ready made looms although if it is for project Kate I guess it will need to be custom made.

Re: Wiring Cable Suppliers
As always gentlemen thank you for your input. I normally get bits off flea bite but Kate is different. I sent a "trailer" 7 core from the basket to the headlight on the Cub but the headlight on Kate has no spare space. This time I'm sending everything from the front back to the basket where all the joining will be done which means lengthening the various cables. I can route them under the tank but there will be a rare collection of them due to the need to retain all the "original" electrical components due to it being post 1986.
Back in the day you took the indicators off, blanked off the switch, no push button etc. Now all the speedo cables alone are equal to what I have on the cub!
I guess that's progress!
Thanks again, Chris
