12v battery to fit a 1957 16ms

Post by Taid »

Can anyone advise on a 12v battery to replace the original 6v item in the carrier space .

I have a 'MB3U MOTOBATT Quadflex AGM Bike Battery 12V 3.8Ah' and having fitted LEDs it will probably be adequate ..

This is quite a small battery, but I can't find one any larger that is not too large in one or more dimensions
Tks

Hello Taid. The Beast is a 57 frame so should be the same reagarding space. I measured the space then looked for 12v batteries on flea bite then checked their dimensions. I'll get you the details tomorrow when I self-isolate again in the garage.

Just been out to look ..
I take it you have fitted narrow width in .. there seems to be just about depth enough for the 114mm up to the strap ..

I think I wait till the current situation resolves before I buy .. I've got a working system, and if the grim reaper is going to call I don't want to have spent un-necessarily.

Thank you ..
