Bolt Size

Post by Rosy »

Can someone tell me the size of Part No 000371, Fixing for battery carrier to frame, thats all the sizes TPI, diameter, length, etc.
Draganfly M/Cs do this, Stud, 5/16 x 1-1/16 x CEI26 82-3641, hoping it's the same size. I'm trying to buy all I need from AMC spares, but I find them lacking in some parts.

000371 is a bolt - 2" x 5/16" x 26tpi cei. I think the original had a rounded head but you may find that rather hard to source but it shouldn't be a problem if a standard hex head will do. I've found Nooky's Nuts a good source for standard cycle thread nuts and bolts.

Hi

AMC Classic spares will supply the correct bolt with rounded head as will ACME Stainless I believe.

Nooky's Nuts fasteners tend to be set bolts and with the 'wrong' head - depends on how much of a rivet counter you are ;)

Thanks, not a rivet counter just short of nuts/bolts in general, I could do with a bucket full them, of which I had once but got rid of them, thinking I was done with brit bikes, how dumb!
