Coils for Electronic Ignition (Solved)

Here's a question. Are special coils required for electronic ignition systems like Boyer units? I've been reading about Ballast and Non-Ballast set-ups and coils that require less oomph to get them going.

Any thoughts?

Sorted. The primary winding needs to be over 3 ohms. I've bought a Lucas LU47276 which is 5 ohms. Sorted
