This is on the cub. Energy Transfer with Boyer EI and Boyer powerbox. An original problem was that the rear light went out when the main beam came on, I cured this with a diode but now when the brake switch is activated the headlight goes on. I've tried being as logical as possible but can't figure out how this is happening. There is a common live but shouldn't be affecting it.
Any thoughts gratefully received.
Cheers, Chris

Post a photo of your wiring diagram - or are you making it up as you go along?

Re: Lights go on when brake switch activated
The second image is inside the headlight. The top row of wires is the six core cable from the box with four common earth points to the left and four common lives to the right. The bottom row is earths from horn, light switch and headlight. The Green through to Brown is the wire from the brake switch to rear bulb. The Black in the middle goes off to the horn. The White is the kill switch. The Green through to Yellow is the rear light. The common Reds go feed to the brake switch, horn, headlights.
Hope this helps, thanks Mick

Sorted. For some mad reason it was the LED stop tail bulb causing problems. But a real bulb in and hussah!
