can anyone tell me if the gear lever for a CP box is the same as for a GB box pse? kind regards

No, the CP has a bigger splined hole than the B52.

Quite different in appearance, check archive parts lists. Burman never changed pt. no's. as AMC did circa 1952

thanks guys, I need a steel one for a CP that I can bend to lower the front as I have to raise my foot off the peg to change down, I cannot adjust the peg unfortunately, the g/box is in a, dare I say it? O.K whisper then ariel w/ng. kind regards

Bit puzzled why you need to raise your foot. I had small size 7 now 8 feet never had to raise my foot on any bike. Have you the wrong footrest or it needs adjusting.?

Can you not adjust it on the splines

no it fouls the footrest if I lower it, I guess it was so for the damn great squaddie boots worn at the time, and I 'spect a bit of wear in the selectors. Kind regards

Study these two pictures side by side, you may spot why you have a problem. One pic is 1946 the other 1952

the box is different to both you show Rob, it has an external operating pushrod lever as well. kind regards
