Bright steel hexagonal bar

Post by Dave Sharp »

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase about 1 foot of 3/4", bright steel hexagonal bar please? Stainless seems readily available but it's not what I'm looking for.

Thank you in advance

Try your local machine shop or steel stockholders they sometimes have off cuts laying around left over from jobs.

I always use M-Machine of Darlington. Wide range, excellent service and postage at cost (no minimum charge). They can also offer advice on which type/alloy is best for the task. Cheers, Andy
