Reprofile of camshafts and followers

Anyone with any experience of having camshafts reprofiled and who by.

I've had cams reprofiled for a twin.The lobes were built up with stellite and ground to the correct profile. I was lucky in that the engineer I used has most of the AMC profiles in stock,as i was changing profile.The same treatment can be given to worn followers .My journals were pitted and worn but i had to have them turned down and under sized cam bushes made.If you require any contact details ,contact me on arby@start.com.au . You do not say which country or part you are in perhaps preventing more precise help. Most Yellow pages have a list of motor engineers some of which will specialise in what you need. Let your fingers do the walking!
