Is your CSR not a 63 ?

It is but all pukka CSR's up to 63 models used taper bearings and AMC full width hubs, only from 64 on models did the factory go to Norton hubs on CSR's. For 63 only touring models used the interim hub which is why they are rare.

Micky, I would be inclined to turn up a spacer to the correct depth, make sure it sits against the centre of the spindle hollow not any bearing, will the brake plate allow a stepped spacer to go through the centre ? kind regards

Next question for tother side
Anyone know how the speedo drive gearbox fit? No thread to screw gearbox nut to.
Or do I change the spindle to part number 021594?

Managed to get answer from Steve Surbey and part now on route soon be on the road.
