Hello.ðŸ˜
Browsing through the spare parts list. 1941G3L, I notice that there is fibre washer for tappet guides, 35-12-E73. There were no fibre washers attached to the tappet guide, when I disassembled the engine. Where are these washers supposed to be fitted?
I also learned that there is a "distance sleeve" DF-39-8-E191, to be fitted to the exhaust valve assembly. Haven't found that in my engine. Where is this sleeve supposed to be?
Cheers

Re: Tappet guide fibre washer
Maybe these parts were discontinued. What contract number parts list are you looking in? I don't see them in C1050. Check the parts list contract number for your engine. If you are not sure what contract your engine is from, I will check for you, but would need the engine number. The washer was introduced in 1935 on the model 12 250 ( 35-12-E73 ) it may had fitted other engines and years onward. DF -39-8-E91 was introduced 1939 on mod 8, a 500cc, it may had fitted other years, but the model number within the pt.no. usually means that was the smallest c.c. model it fitted.

Re: Tappet guide fibre washer
I think the engine is a replacement part in itself.
Questions is building up. Any thoughts about how long the bronze bushings for the camaxles is supposed to be?

80169 is quite a late WD engine number from Contract No. S4555 I believe. Delivery start date Sept. 1943. I do not have a parts list for that contract.
