Exactly the same route as me.Mick D wrote:Hi
I started out using Red Hermatite, graduated through Gold Hermatite to Blue Hylomar and finished up with Wellseal, from which I have had the most consistent success.
Just my personal experience.

I'm at the Hylomar stage, simply because it was easier to get here in France than Wellseal I think I'll have to make the effort and obtain some!
Got to give the old bike the best chance of survival no?
Thanks, Dave.

A tube of Wellseal costs about a tenner but the good news is that it never runs out! Has anyone ever got to the end of a tube? Cheers. Bruce.

During my apprenticeship at a Rolls-Royce and Bentley main dealer (1961 to 1967 on £3/10/6d a week including Saturday morning overtime !!) the stores only issued Blue Hylomar.Dave T wrote:I'm at the Hylomar stage, simply because it was easier to get here in France than Wellseal I think I'll have to make the effort and obtain some!

Dear me what an indictment of RR & Bentley! My first job as a medical lab technician at Middlesbrough General in 1969 paid £8 per month, after working a month in hand I got £8 for two months' work, my overdraft never recovered from that! Eee them were the days!
