spark plug 1961 G2CS Scrambler

Having a terrible time knowing what is correct plug for this model. Have narrowed it to N-3 or N-5. The right answer would be appreciated. Thanks John B, USA

Hi John, Your bike is 40 years old. The conditions you run it under today are different from when it was new. (Different fuels, different oils, etc, etc,). Under these circumstances the original recommendation for the spark plug is merely a starting point for ascertaining what is appropriate today. In short' it doesn't matter what the 'correct' plug was, it is what is correct today that counts. You will have to polish up your tuning skills to new heights.
