My 1955 18S now has 12v electrics, with LEDs and very bright they are too. One little niggle is hat the total current, when all the lights are on is only around 1.5 amps which barely registers on the ammeter - just a slight twitch when the lights go on.. Charging will be less than 4 amps. The ammeter I am using is +/- 8amps. Does anyone know of a period looking ammeter which will show something meaningful, say a +/- 4 amp range?
