Re: Raffle Bike 2020
With no shows to go to to sell and the NEC in doubt the odds of winning this year are gonna be bloody good, but the cost to the club will be high!

Re: Raffle Bike 2020
That'll be difficult as we've already taken money from Bristol etc. I think it just needs support from the members by buying all the tickets we send out via the mag or on-line.

Re: Raffle Bike 2020
There are costs just to run it. I am sure math's would prove, if all members brought a book of tickets we would make a good profit.

Re: Raffle Bike 2020
I am not sure that we will proceed with this as it would be best to stop it now before to many tickets are sold and roll it over until next year.

Re: Raffle Bike 2020
I bought 2 books at Shepton Mallett. Feel free to cut your losses and just give me the bike. I'll pay transport costs...

Re: Raffle Bike 2020
If you look at the grand scheme of things with the likes of Stafford and other shows not taking place and there being no associated costs encountered then surely the outcome is going to be cash positive.
Just a thought.

Re: Raffle Bike 2020
I'll probably take the on-line approach. If there is a cancellation then refund is easier for the Club. Can't help but think Rumble has probably got this right though.
