Hi everyone, Happy New Year to you all, I am trying to find the position of the timing marks on the cams for a 46 Matchless 500, the cams I have do not have any dots on them at all and I was hoping someone would be able to let me know the position of the dots with a point of reference to the lobe or keyway, anything that may help.

Did you read this article? I don't think anyone can explain it better... http://www.jampot.com/article_read.asp?id=652 Even withouth the dots you should be able to get this correct.... If you share a picture of your cams maybe someone could count the teeth on his?
