where to find all sorts of nuts and bolts as I am rebuilding my big port. Any reccomendations?

Vincent,did you join the pre-war group on Yahoo?
There are those in the group with extensive knowledge.
Most will be Cycle threads with a few Whitworth.

Vincent are you doing a total rebuild ie big end assembly etc.. im just having 3 big end assemblies manufactured for my H4 (340 SV) . not sure if its the same as yours . I had 4 pistons made a few years ago . all the spare are pretty hard to find

Someone balanced the crank for me Peter. Rebuilding the engine now. Still in need for allot of parts. Yes Dudley I have joined the pre-war group, allot of information to be found.
