Get in touch with Tony Cooper (magman). He manufacturers new ones.

I bought one from Tony 2 weeks ago. It was £75 plus postage.
The bad news might be that I bought the last one that he had at that time. However he may have more in by now, its worth calling him .

Re: Auto advance unit for 1955 500 single
My experience with Tony Cooper has been good but has anyone experience of the "bobweight specials" that he can supply? John's clearly not at the point of running his 350 until he gets those oil pipes sorted.
I've done everything with mine but it still sticks on full advance when fitted. If I forget from cold to tap the chaincase cover bulge with a soft mallet (and rarely even when I do) there's quite a kickback. It's better when hot. The timing is, for once, spot on.
I had, some time ago, made the mistake of changing more than one thing at a time and fitted new springs for no particular reason, the only thing I haven't tried is fitting the old ones back on or putting an elastic band round the bobweights! Ha ha.
It would be good to know if Tony's are up to his usual standard.
