It's good to see bikes getting TV time even though I don't do Twins and find HC's voice a bit irritating. Two more progs to go, featuring Nortons tonight and Ducatis tomorrow.
Here's a short yet interesting clip on Triumphs cribbed from the IKBA website:

Thanks for flagging this up. I missed last night's programme but will watch the next to. I agree with Spriddler, it's good to have bikes on tv, whoever the presenter is!

Yes interesting as it was for Triumph owners, interesting that Dick Sheperd has a lot of shipping containers that appear to contain Triumph motorcycles, these were not there when the East London & Essex section visited some years ago.

Interesting to hear that Bud Ekins and Steve McQueen would only ride Triumphs too.

I seem to remember reading something about a tie up with Matchless for an ISDT or two?
It's all just riding motorbikes

I liked Coles when he was doing his rides across Australia et al. Now, the more I see him, the more of a door handle he becomes!

Ken Heanes built two cheaney 475cc BSA Victors one for Steve McQueen and one for Bud Ekins they
were collected personaly by Steve and Bud. Later of course Steve Mc Queen road Husquvanas both in races in the
USA and in the ISDT.

Bud also rode Matchless, one of which was kept here in the Hampshire area.
