Log books are not always 100% correct. 1965 mod 14 CSR is what you have. Considerations to be made as to what wrong parts may now be fitted to the bike. As you did say looked a little different to that in the sales cat.

Re: New here
Oh its alot different. I knpw the engine was recently rebuilt by my dad and runs sweet he used to race ajs and was southern school boy champion when he was a teen amd went on to race rd250 on track. The handle bars. Seat. Tyres.front wheel changed for a jap one i think with better brakes. Wheels rebuilt with new spokes amd rims. Lights speedo was all different bit theres no electrics going to be on it. Exhaust is custom home made stainless high level thw whole bike is painted badly. Standered bits look to be frame forks yokes back wheel engine pegs etc other than that looks like bits of this bits of that.

Before you get really involved, buy a flat cap.
Seriously-if you take your time absorbing what people say on here, get to know what bike you have, and go to autojumbles to see what's on offer.
It's great fun sourcing bits and specialist services of what you can't do at home.
You'll love it. Just don't mention the war or J**anese motorbikes!
