gearbox oil level for 56 18cs

hi ,am i missing something here, i drained my gearbox oil, looked at the books, toped up with a pint of oil, poured it in. thought it looked to much, so undid the oil level plug, to which more than half a pint came out again.?? is one pint correct? thanks

Book says a pint. Are you sure you put in a measured pint and not a litre. Which could easy be done if you just brought a litre of Gearbox oil.

hi Rob, just drained it again, probably did not drain it all out properly in the first place, which is odd as i left it overnight, thanks
