Looks good.
Hope we have a good summer and you get plenty of riding in. You'll already be roasting don there in the south west.

They're on E bay made in India to order so delivery takes about six weeks. Very good quality very strong but needed fettling to get a good fit (but I don't think my frame is spot on). So a dry build is essential.numbersix wrote:That looks very nice.

Re: New mudguards and tool boxes
Must have been risky to order AJS toolboxes described as BSA petrol tank to fit a BSA model?

Its worth checking prices though as they do seem to vary a lot in price from different suppliers.
The service seems good I ordered the slab battery box first of all as mine is a '57 model but it didn't fit and they refunded the money even though it wasn't their fault.

Re: New mudguards and tool boxes
Eventually got Edith to start.
Last week I discovered that engine oil had flooded the primary case causing the clutch to slip so badly the kick start couldn't turn the engine passed compression. So I drained the excess oil and left it for a week with a cable tie holding the clutch open so the oil would hopefully drain off the plates. This worked ish as long as I helped with the valve lifter. But She wouldn't fire up. So I pulled the spark plug out and heated it with a fag lighter. Broom first kick. Our son Michael came home on his new Triumph Daytona and said the ECU had been remapped so I moved me ignition lever to do the same to Edith.
