Rode to a local "bike night" last night through drifts of loose chippings and tar - cutting edge hah! Do they do top dressing in Spain Alan?
We plan to go to Rushden but the word plan means sweet fa at the mo so pre booking just won't be possible. Fingers crossed...

Now on our last leg up to the north coast on our way to Bilbao. Most bikes seem to be on organised tours,no camping for them but flash hotels! Lots of pilgrims on foot or by bicycle on their way to Camino de Santiago! It's still raining by the way!

We passed hundreds of pilgrims on their way as we went to the rally and again from the rally on our way home. T'was baking hot and quite a few were flagging and seeking shelter in the trees that were few and far between!alanjennings wrote:Now on our last leg up to the north coast on our way to Bilbao. I thought that the ones in the trees were strawberry sellers as Dudey pull off the road a few times and took quite some time to catch up.

Now we are going home tomorrow the sun is shinning! 5 hardleys and a triumph just came in, not really prepared for the mixed weather, on a ten day tour, one has already had electrical problems and went home! One is a " rigid" with a hard seat and no front mudguard- I hate bikes without a good mudguard!! But a friendly bunch of guys. See you all at Rushden!
