interesting the discussion re reg no. If the bike is on the database at DVLA then it will probably be transferrable, I suggest however that as the vendor only has a 'buff' log book the number has not been recorded on the database, It could be possible to obtain the original number but in this case it would be non transferable,
I have a Francis Barnett in off road trim, my vendor had purchased it for the number plate but it came, of course, without the V5c for which he had to apply, on receipt of the document he found the number to by non transferable hence his quick and cheap sale to me. kind regards
