Thanks for the clarification and for the fitting instructions. Our local Maplins has just closed down so I have just ordered some diodes off fleabay so will have to wait a few days for them

Just one question from me for now, .. have you tried using the neutral indicator switch JUST to earth the neutral input of the counter?
Disconnect the indicator lamp for the moment.
