Ardingly
Good show yesterday lots of club members there and a good display from the Sussex section, Peter Morris had his latest creation (very nice) on display it was so clean you would have thought that it had been trailered there. Good to see Sprid there chatting up two poor young ladies trying to sell the remains of the dear old grandfather's bits and bobs, I wonder if he managed to get out of the van after I left.

Short version of the Westward Ho report.
Wet, wetter, mud and then fog, followed by too much beer.
Great weather on the run home though.
Thanks to the organisers

Re: Ardingly
I took a few pics but unfortunately after I'd been in the back of the girls' van with them taking pics of their bits I forgot to change the focus setting from 'close-up'. Either that or the lens had steamed up as the subsequent photos were blurred.G15 Roy wrote:Good show yesterday lots of club members there and a good display from the Sussex section, Peter Morris had his latest creation (very nice) on display it was so clean you would have thought that it had been trailered there. Anyway, here's Peter with his superb G80CS resto...........
And one looking out from the stand before Joe Public were allowed in...
and a poor one of the stand before the lights were on and all the bikes were in place/had arrived which really doesn't do it justice at all...and we won the 'Best Club Stand' award.
A couple more in next post (only 3 photos per post allowed).

Re: Ardingly
Roy rode in to town with his newly fire-rescued twin in stunning two-tone iron oxide.......
and here it is before. Yes, it really is (mostly) the same bike 3 months previously...........
We had 5 pre-war bikes there, 4 ridden to the show......
Sadly, the remaining 20 or so photos are unusable.

Re: Ardingly
Congrats all round for bringing details to us northern hermits of what is obviously a great show and I have to say Roy, what a fantastic resto! I assume a gentle rust resisting varnish but otherwise a bike wearing its heart on its sleeve - brilliant!

Re: Ardingly
May I say I agree with (Rew) about the 2 tone rustic and with all those other very nice bikes, looks to have been a good show pity we are so far away
