Have a look at these two threads. Not sure what the original washers were made of but probably copper but I have fibre ones on mine now.

Both are 3/8" BSP 19 tpi [edit: NOT 5/8" UNF thread]. The rearmost (042201) plug is the short one with the magnet. The front one (042160) is longer and thinner.
Both have the same fibre washer (042186)

UNF?? Interesting? I am sure my font plugs thread is more coarse than the rear one for some reason. Something to check when I next change the oil I think

Now you've got me wondering! I measured the rear one as UNF. I'll need to check the front one now...

Was wondering as everything else is either BSF or BSC which is a fine thread. Took pictures of most things but not those unfortunately

Just checked: 5/8" 18 tpi, which I think means UNF.
Isn't BSF 5/8" 14 tpi?? Apologies if I've misled anyone...

Poul is correct. I checked more carefully this time (my bad). :headbang:
It's 19 tpi, 5/8" diameter. So 3/8" BSP.

So is that for both of them?
