Adverts Editor flees cold weather

Post by clive »

I am away for three weeks from 11th Feb. I expect to be able to keep up with authorisation of website adverts and those sent by email, but any sent by post will have to wait until after my return. There may be a bit of a delay with authorisations as I will be quite a few time zones away. Quite by chance the Quizmaster has told me he will be away over the same period so there may be a delay in agreeing quiz entries too.

The Quiz master is still on an extended Christmas holiday. He made the Quiz harder, so had less work to do.

PLEASE if you are placing an ad through the website remember to include your contact details, they are not automatically included if you use the "I know what I want to say" feature. (if you use the "help me build an advert" it does include your details but is largely aimed at bike sales only). I do have access to the membership details so I can include them when they are forgotten but its a cut and past job. Whilst I am away it will all be done on my phone and its all too small to be a realistic project. So don't be surprised if there are a lot of adverts without contact details in the next few weeks, I will sort them out on my return and before they go into the Jampot.

Transfer at Doha airport, it's so big I wish I had my AJS to get to the departure gate!

Have a great time Clive. The shitty weather was only one of the reasons for us to emigrate.

Thanks Roy, currently at 39000 feet, over Australia at last but still 2 hours 53 minutes before landing!

Drinking starts at 5 a.m. Be fun to see him trying to walk off the plane Roy, that would do us good. Not had a good laugh for ages.
