Re: original tool kits
Here's the set that came with my bike, some of these don't belong to this bike but I haven't had time to sort through them. They're all old (even some old model T tools)
Fix it until it's broken!
Otherwise how will
anything get done?

Where does the tool bag mount? Also, how does the air pump mount?

That's a nice wee collection
Here is a list from a 1954 AJS spares book for 18C - I presume it would be the same for G80s

Re: original tool kits
The tool kit supplied is not really good for what you may need tools for in a roadside emergency.
You do not need a grease gun, you are not likely to need circlip pliers. They are more for garage jobs and service. Pump and tyre lever not much good without puncture repair kit. Spare chain links and solder less nipples are missing buy handy to have.

Air pump on my ‘60 Matchless G3 mounts on the right hand rear frame member sprung between two right angled spigots, I assume brazed to the frame at the factory.cfaber wrote:Where does the tool bag mount? Also, how does the air pump mount?
Keep shiny side up.

I sourced repro versions of 017525, 018178 and 017257 from AMC Classic - they are well made and just need a bit of 'aging' to make them look the part.

Re: original tool kits
Tool roll goes in the tool box. Pump mount seen pictured is the same as 55, I am only aware of much earlier fittings being along the top of the rear chain guard and girder fork tube. If your rear frame fittings are broken off, perhaps clamp on bicycle pump fittings could be used.
