Rebuild photos

Post by johnnymarre »

I have quite a few photos of my strip and rebuild of my 1942 G3L WD.
Would they be of interest if I could work out how to post them? I've always found photographic references very useful

keep the photos coming Johnny :-) - always good to see other folks work -even if it does, in my case, inevitably lead to garage/tool/bike lift/light/warm/dry/workshop spannering environment envy! ;-)

Yes indeed they would!

In fact I've been puzzled a few times (doesn't take a lot!) that there isn't a specific board (rather than machine specific or general ones) for such rebuilds or bike stories on the forum so those that do exist appear to get lost on other, perhaps less obvious or appropriate boards.

In the world of RC aircraft in which I've dabbled over the years, people often have individual "Build threads" showing the evolution of their creations which are often fascinating, inspirational and at the very least educational. I've produced a few of my own although it is for others to decide whether my ones fit into any of those three categories! Anyway, just an idea ....
