Falling Standards

Post by poplargreg »

Does anyone else find all this talk of "zorsts" and "th'exhaust" a bit annoying - time the moderators put a muffler on it I say!

Things haven't been the same since all those gurning pumpkins joined. Where's the ironic one? It does not exist!

I'm sure Mr Jacobs is not happy either.

Disgusted of Hereford.

Aye, because everyone knows that it should be 't'exhaust".

I can't say I'd noticed except that some colonials ;) talk about carbys and not carburettors or shortened to carbs. It should at least be carbus. :)

Surely the Greek plural for carbus would be carbodes, carbi is Latin. Sorry, I'll get my coat
