I've found Cox & Turner very helpful, but they are very much "old school" and e-mails can be a bit hit n miss.

They are very much "old school", I think. I haven't been to their main base in Yeovil but John Cox lives very near to me. I believe he set the company up but is now retired and the main work is done in Yeovil by his son, Ian. Rings are made in what appears to be an old shed in the Dorset countryside, where they run the tractor side of the business, but they have the only working piston ring grinder from the old Wellworthy company and, in my view, do a really good job and have been very helpful to me.

They did a load of work for my Model 18 a few years ago, including new liner, lead-free exhaust valve seat and repairing the cast iron head, as well as supplying the rings for my Model 31.
