I disassembled last night and I looked at the number on the lug: 021748 ... For which model?
This is not the right model for my g3ls 1955, normally it is the 021749/021927

It probabely is right. The number on it is a casting number (before it's machined).

Re: Space on Top Yoke fork 1 1/4"
Below, I noticed ball of different diameter..
The front fork steering balls are 3/16" (diameter 4.76 mm) or 1/4" (diameter 6.35) ? (G3ls fork 1 1/4" 1955)
Difference in height = (6.35 - 4.76) x2 = 3.18 mm ??
Mine are 1/4"..

Re: Space on Top Yoke fork 1 1/4"
Hi
Are the outer races 1/4" or are the balls over sized?
If they are oversized balls in 3/16" races there will be a difference of about 4mm per bearing assembly, (because the balls will not be fully seated in the outers).
If the balls are oversized in the outers they will probably have caused damage to the outers, I suggest replacing the complete assembly, not just the balls.
Regards Mick

I do not know, but the balls are 1/4 "and I have a set of - + 5 mm at the fork mount. I'm looking for information about the Lug 021748 I have, but do not find.
I think to try balls of 3/16 and I should no longer have space
Originally, which ones?

Evolution:
1. Purchase balls 3/16 "
2. Cleaning and mounting (top and bottom) of the new balls
3. Reassembly and tightening
Great, everything's alright! The problem was the diameter of the balls in place which was not good -> 1/4 "
I'am happy
