I know I'm not an e-bayer and I'm dim, but whereabouts is this advert? I can't find it.

I have bid on (and won) a couple of bikes unseen on ebay as they were a fair distance away. I would not pay a deposit before seeing them and unless the bikes were "as described" when I went to collect them I would have walked away.
This is within ebay rules.

Regards

It was there this morning. Unless it has been cancelled, entering the number in the first post in the ebay search box will find it.

That's why I asked. I did that and nothing came up so I assumed I was doing it wrong.

I also noticed that the G80CS is back on at £3,750.00.

Thank you to all for the help and advice the seller (very nice gent) contacted me replying to my e mail and the bike was made in sept 1954 so a 55 model the ad had very little content but was spot on, I went to see the bike yesterday. Starts easy settles nice runs/rides very good lots of history and extras so a price was met hence not for sale anymore needs a few little jobs and a little T.L.C.
Again Thanks

A nice result!
Top tip - if it needs more than 2 bolts to hold it on, its probably important...

Janet
If you put the number into search and then click completed listings on left it will show the bike.
