After a roadside puncture using a standard pump is an exhausting joke! For arthritic senior citizens the best option is a co2 cylinder from a bicycle emporium!

It looks like the way you have that inflator mounted the 'foot plate' could swing down whilst riding and if you didn't notice, obstruct the kick start. Better to rotate the inflator so as the foot plate is trapped by the frame as per my photo.

For the old ones, Sammy Miller has a CO2 cartridge and adaptor, small enough to go in the single kidney toolbox on my G80CS!

Am "old" but still pumping !!!, thanks all the same for the info about the cartridge & adaptor.
