So Renold chain DOES meet ISO 10190

Post by SPRIDDLER »

Oh dear. Ref our earlier thread/discussion re Regina vs Renold chain.
As you were, chaps (Or as I wasn't  )

Just received this from Wassells...

APOLOGY AND RETRACTION
In June 2014 we electronically circulated an invitation to click-on
and view a flyer entitled “Motorcycle Chain – Know the Facts”.
In that flyer we suggested that Renold did not manufacture chain to
the ISO 10190 standard. We now accept that this is incorrect and
withdraw the statement.
We wish to apologise to Renold for our error.

IMHO Still best avoided, unless it's NOS, stamped, UK/British made.

Ah...it was worth me phoning Reynolds and telling them about it then...They said they would get their legal team to inform and correct Wassell... ...made the call worthwhile I think....Les
