Janet, can I ask you to be noisier than last year? I did catch a fleeting glance as you disappeared off on the run on that IL4 machine of yours (!) - but never heard your dulcet tones in the bar. Perhaps this year I'll be luckier.......

What, luckier that you won't see me at all on my magnificent Honda? [;)]

I was in the bar around teatime on Sunday. I can't remember being in there much other than that. That probably means I was. [:D]

A message from those in the know ( [8D] )

Brentwood high street was due to reopen this weekend after 6 weeks for water main repairs but it is now likely still to be shut next weekend

So when you get to the lights at the High Street, just follow the diversion and JAMPOT signs and you will rejoin the route on to the A128 at the top of the High Street. Make sure that you turn left at the end of the diversion on to the A128.

While red leather thigh high boots seem to be `de riguer `at the national. Are white boots `de riguer` at the Essex rally? and does Janet know?

It's all gone quiet on here, does that mean that everybody is busy polishing up their bikes ready for the concours??

Polishing is an alien concept.

There's no point anyway because my bike isn't eligible.

If I don't get some acknowledgement of having renewed my membership before Friday I won't be eligible either, so won't be going.

The very fact that you can continue to post on here is acknowledgement that your membership is current.

Two years ago the system was changed so that membership cards are no longer issued unless specially requested and a SAE enclosed with your renewal form.

See you at the Jampot.
