Annual subscription

Post by Eamonn »

Unfortunately annual subscription by direct debit does involve some extra costs and so I don't think the club will be going down that route.

However an alternative is to pay annually by credit card - this is one of the features of the new computer system being put into place in the admin office. So once we have finished testing it all through we should be able to offer an alternative method of renewal - meybe even on-line for those that want it !

As Eamonn has noted, the OE have looked at the option of Direct Debit on a number of occasions, the last of which was at the November meeting however even the Banks have advised that it is too expensive for us to consider as an option. Alternatively, Standing Orders or as Eamonn has suggested (and probably more convenient for both sides) will be to set up an annual credit card transfer. For the present this doesn't cost The Club anything and is certainly an option we are looking at to bring on line with the new Computer systems - watch for an announcement either via the web site or in Jampot
