Renewal received this morning from PJ £81.15 for G80 and G9 fully comp, agreed values etc.
The increase I was warned about as I had to have the G9 recovered from northern France when I fell off on the way to the International in Switzerland.
I was invited to pay the cost of recovery (@ £1000 !) to save my premium increasing. They could not tell me by how much at the time but it has turned out to be only around £5 !

Samuel,
Please be more careful riding to Kent for this year's International, no more fallings off!
And how are you travelling to Kelso? I am on the 'Assistance List' if needed.
Best regards.

Im not insured to ride bikes not owned by me.Something worth remembering if you are thinking of test riding a bike with a view to purchasing or simply out for a plod about with a mate and swap bikes for a few miles for comparison.I will enquire when I phone up to renew about the cost of adding this option to the policy if its possible and post back with my findings

I noticed this when I renewed with PJ last year - I asked how much to add riding motorcycle not owned by me and they said no problem no charge. The underwriters do not include everything as standard but do not necessarily charge. It was the same with adding riding to work - no charge if i wanted it !
