Mag service

Post by JEAN-NOEL »

I had to refurbish a Lucas K2FR.
I send it to Bill Brown - Brightspark Magnétos. Received on june the 15 th. Send back to me on June the 21/06, at home ont the 23rd !
First class job, with old parts sent back.
Very detailed invoice.
Extensive report, with tests, cold an hot at different RPM. Results better than Lucas original specs !
Invoice & report written in French !
Excellent.

I second this praise for Bill. I sent him my mag last year from the UK to his place in France, and the whole thing was received, rebuilt, tested and returned to me in the UK in a week. Absolutely fantastic service.

How embarrassed I shall be if there is so much as a single misfire in the future!
But seriously, your kind words are much appreciated.
Un grand merci à vous Jean-Noël, and thanks to you too Les.

Just adding my two cents worth. Bill completed a very comprehensive and detailed overhaul of my failing N1 mag. What's more he had it fixed and back with me before Christmas (Santa works in mysterious ways). All within a week or so. Amazing service.
